Bio

Mary Martinez has been living in Tampa for 10 years and spends her time thinking about her next artistic fiasco. After moving from Cleveland, OH she found out that the Tampa art scene was a breath of fresh air. She enjoys the possibility of a conversation and a good laugh. Her philosophy of life is rather simple, “Smile! It’s an easy way to produce positive energy, and that always feels good!” She uses emotions, colors, and different techniques to produce her abstract pieces of art. Mary is also a Board member for the non--profit Tampa art group Gala Corina, and has had over 20 exhibits throughout the state. She is inspired by the effect of a smile, the sounds of laughter and mother nature’s infinite gifts.
